In the weekend between finishing classes at MIT and graduation, Bethany went to Seattle to visit Josh. On Sunday, June 1, 2008, Josh took Bethany on a tour of Seattle.

After a delicious lunch of portabella mushroom fajitas at Cactus

And ice cream at a nearby shop

Josh took Bethany to the Japanese Gardens.

After walking around the grounds for an hour and a half, admiring the blooming flowers and beautiful foliage, looking at the koi fish in the pond and talking about life, Josh stopped to take some picture of Bethany on a little path near a waterfall.

Bethany, completely unaware, was getting cold and asked to go back to Josh's apartment. Josh said, "Sure, but I have to ask you something first..."

Suddenly, he was down on one knee, reaching into his pocket, and asking Bethany to make him "the happiest man in the world." And of course, she said YES!
